FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • What kind of events do you cater?
    Private house parties, company events, holiday parties, birthday parties, wedding receptions, open houses and any other kind of event you can come up with. I prepare all the food on site so it is as fresh as possible.
  • How much do you charge?
    My price for a full sushi menu that you and I create starts at $75/head plus gratuity. My minimum charge is $750 plus gratuity.
  • Do you provide dishes?
    Yes! I can provide plates, platters, chafing dishes, chopsticks, soy sauce dishes, and paper napkins. I do not provide linens, glassware or drinks.
  • How much notice do you need?
    I need at least 3 days notice so I may place my fish order in time.
  • Where do you source your fish?
    To source the freshest fish and ingredients I have accounts with Fog River, Ocean Beauty, IMP (International Marine Products) and Nicholas & Company.
  • How long have you been doing sushi?
    I started training as a sushi chef at Sakura Sushi in Salt Lake City in 1997. Since that time I've had the opportunity to work with great sushi chefs at Kampai, Mikado, Happy Sumo, The Flying Sumo and Lespri Prime.
  • What payment methods do you accept?
    Cash, Venmo, and checks from local banks are all great.
